have you seen black bettas? I really wanted one but the staff would always snag all of them before customers could get to them.
my blue fish (named “Blue Fish”) lasted years longer than betta’s are supposed to… which might have been helped by me taking him to the annual Blessing of the Animals (not that I’m religious – but maybe he was).

Never saw a black betta; it would be cool but I love the iridescent colors. Unfortunately, Max only lasted a week.
