Every Nov-Dec in Seattle, there is this HUGE gingerbread house contest sponsored by the Bill Gates Foundation. Architects and chefs work together to create these massive structure built solely from candy. I’m not sure how the money is generated. I think the people either bid on the houses or vote via $ on which on they like.
But what is indisbutable is the charity.
