Recent forays in the cupcake trade
So, prior to getting viciously ill, I set about making cupcakes for this past weekend. No. 1: For Cameron's birthday. No. 2: For Mike's Super Bowl party. For those who may have a vicarious cupcake interest, I present to you first the birthday cakes:
There was a second tray of the birthday guys, but … um … lost to the ages.
The Super Bowl ones were some of my favorites. Here are the two rivals against one another first. Ah, yes, you knew from the start that it was bound to be a delicious, sweet victory … for someone.
And here, their playing field (partly saturated in warrior blood), 50 yard line, field goal posts, half-assed footballs and even a little heart for ole Eli Manning.
Winner: everyone.
Especially the Tiki gods at the birthday party:

Shockingly, there were! I took them to work and made the folks there quite pleased.

The cupcakes were a big hit at Otto’s Shrunken Head where we celebrated my birthday. They were so delicioius! The tiki heads contained Otto’s Octane, a tasty rum punch that sneaks up on if you’re not careful.
