So, it's been one of those days.

On the good side, I now have a new story up on podcast at the wonderful Well Told Tales. It's called "Can't Keep a Dead Man Down," so please head on over there and comment on how much ya liked it. (Or not!)

On the less good side, a gig I had been testing for since February ultimately didn't work out today and while I can reapply, I am still in decompression phase. I may blog more about it in detail at a later time, but not at the moment. Suffice it to say it's a humbling experience to learn you're not as exceptional as you may think you are.

So once again, the universe comes into balance.
